Product Description
The Omni IIe is an automation controller with integrated security for homes and small businesses. The system provides enhanced comfort, safety, convenience and energy savings by coordinating lighting, heating and air, security, scenes and messaging based on lifestyles and schedules.
This model comes with an Omni IIe controller with enclosure, lock set with two keys, PIM, RJ31X cord and jack, and manuals.
At the heart of the Omni IIe is HAI's Advanced Control Programming (ACP) which allows installers and owners to set schedules and actions performed by the system.
Omni IIe comes with several standard modes, such as Day, Night, Away and Vacation, and can accept customized scenes such as "Good night", "Good morning" or "Entertainment" that set temperatures, lights and security to the desired levels with one touch. Security and temperature sensors can be used to adjust lights, appliances and thermostats, monitor activity and track events. The home can be controlled and programmed by the dealer or the homeowner, on-site or from a remote location. Easy to read LCD consoles show status and allow control and scheduling of lighting, security, temperatures and accessories.
Omni IIe has a build-in ethernet port that allows it to be connected to a local area network using a secure 128 bit AES connection. It allows the Omni IIe to be accessed from any computer in the house or through the Internet.
Omni IIe has three built-in serial ports for connection to additional control devices, such as touchscreens, voice recognition and home theater controls.
Omni IIe features telephone accessibility from within the home or a remote location with clear voice menus for convenience and simplicity. The built-in digital communicator reports alarm events to a central station and can dial up to 8 additional phone numbers chosen by the home owner for voice notification.
An ideal and economical choice for homes and small businesses, Omni IIe is the middle member of HAI's best-selling Omni product line. It supports numerous Omni family accessories, including a complete line of fully communicating thermostats.
The Omni IIe Controller for Structured Wiring Enclosures (HAI Part Number 20A00-52) fits in Leviton, OnQ, UStec, Siemon, and "open house" type Structured Wiring Enclosures. It comes with an Omni IIe controller on mounting plate, PIM, RJ31X cord and jack, manuals, accessory kit, and wiring diagram for enclosure door.

Security zones are fully configurable
and expandable. You may set the
validity of user codes by time and
authority. For example, the security
code for the nanny, housekeeper,
or contractor only works during
specified times. The Omni IIe family
supervises zones, battery, and bell
circuits. Additionally, Omni IIe
systems permit true partitioning for
security and control.
Omni IIe systems have a built-in
digital communicator for use with a
central station and can dial up to 8
additional phone numbers chosen
by the owner for voice notification.
LIGHTING
An Omni IIe system
can control your home
lighting by schedule,
motion detection, door
openings, sunrise, sunset, alarm
activation and more. It provides the
benefits of a sophisticated lighting
control system by setting scenes,
fades, and dimming levels.
Omni IIe controllers have an
astronomical clock and automatically
adjust for daylight savings time in
order to provide accurate dusk to
dawn lighting control.
Omni IIe supports HAI Lighting
Control (HLC) products, which
include dimmers, switches, remote
controls, and plug-in modules. It
can operate lighting devices by
other manufacturers, including
Z-Wave™ based devices, Zigbee®,
ALC hardwire, RF, hardwired, and
others provided by HAI Connectivity
Partners.
ENERGY MANAGEMENT
If you add HAI’s Omnistat
communicating thermostats,
you may control your home’s
temperatures through your Omni IIe
system by schedule and activity—
such as home,
asleep, away, room
occupancy, outdoor
temperature, etc.
HAI temperature and humidity
sensors allow for temperaturebased
programming of events in
your Omni IIe controller. They may
be used to activate programs for
controlling temperatures in attics,
garages, greenhouses, basements,
wine cellars, or coolers.

system.
It can control on/off, volume,
muting, audio source, and many
other functions for each audio zone.
Use the telephone to make an
announcement through Hi-Fi by HAI,
such as calling the kids downstairs
for dinner.
SURVEILLANCE
Surveillance
cameras may be
added to Omni IIe
systems. View and/
or record the nursery, pool area, or
front door. Automatically display live
video feed on the Touchscreen or
television when the doorbell rings.
View live feed or recorded video
remotely over the Internet or from
your Smartphone/PDA. Activate
video recording when an alarm trips,
and send an alert to a cell phone or
e-mail address stating that an alarm
has been tripped.
INTERFACE OPTIONS
Each Omni IIe installation requires
at least one Omni Console (HAI part
number 33A00-1) or Omni Console
with Built-in Speaker/Microphone

You may add

interface options,

to your HAI system. OmniTouch
Touchscreens are available as

Your Omni IIe has built-in telephone
access with voice menu that you
may access when you are inside or
outside your home. The telephone
access also allows your home to
contact you in case of alarm or alert.
It also has a built-in modem that

status review, which is available over
the Internet using the Ethernet port.
Choose from one of HAI’s awardwinning
software options, such as
